"Sabre" SSB Brake Motors
The ¼ -5HP "Sabre" (SSB) brake motor is a revolutionary new brake motor integrating the application proven Dodge DC brake with the industry leading Reliance motor. Sabre brake motors offer the shortest most compact brake motor possible. The SSB brake motor reduces the overall length by up to 2½ inches. This compact spring set design is magnetically released, direct acting and is designed for the stopping and the holding of a driven load. |

"Duty Master D Series" Brake Motors
"Duty Master" brake motors use the Dodge "D" Series DBSC model brakes. These brakes are DC power with a built-in rectifier. The DC power reduces the magnetic noise (hum) common in AC solenoid brakes. Service life on the friction discs is extended because of the softer engagement forces. The D Series brake C-Face mounts to the motor with four external bolts to make replacement convenient. The brake leads are routed to the motor conduit box where it can be connected with the motor leads for power.

HCB Brake Motors
The Reliance High Cycle Brake Motor is designed for motion control applications with repetitive starting and stopping duty. The HCB brake motors can be applied up to 30 start and stop combinations per minute without injurious heating. The spring set, direct acting brakes are liberally sized for repeat stopping and constructed for long service life. |

"Duty Master"- XP (Explosion Proof) Brake Motors
Reliance "Duty Master" Hazardous brake motors are UL listed for the National Electric Code Division 1 classified locations. These brake motors meet the underwriters specifications for ignition temperatures as defined by National Electrical Codes for the hazardous classes and groups. They are designed for industrial applications in which the environment contains hazardous gas, vapor, dust, fibers, or other materials that have explosive properties. |
